Our social ballroom classes are perfect if you've never danced before and you're looking to try something new. We'll cover a range of dances in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere to get you moving confidently round the floor. You don’t need to worry if you think you have two left feet, or if you don't have a partner - you just need the willing to learn some new moves and have some fun!

If you have any questions about the class, please get in touch. You can call on 07518 538 005, e-mail or message on Facebook.

Can I still join if I can't come on the first night?

Yes! Don’t worry if you can’t make the first class - there will be plenty of opportunity for you to catch up.

Do I need a partner?

No, you can come by yourself if you don’t have a partner, or if your partner can’t come with you.

If we come as a couple do we have to change partners?

No, we won't insist that you change partners.

What happens if I miss a class?

This is nothing to worry about! Each class will include an element of revision, so there will be plenty of opportunity for you to catch up.

If you want to join the class but you’re worried about having missed a few weeks then you can always think about having a private lesson to get you back up to speed.

What should I wear?

Please just wear whatever you’ll feel comfortable in for a dance class. You can dress up or down, as you wish, but try to avoid anything that bunches too much in the shoulders or feels restrictive when you raise your arms up to the sides to shoulder height.

Footwear-wise it’s best if you can wear hard-soled shoes that won’t stick too much to the floor when you try to turn. A small heel normally works well for women, but probably nothing higher than about 2.5". Trainers tend to not work well for ballroom.

How do I pay?

Weekly in cash - this way you won’t pay or have to request refunds for any classes you miss. We will accept block bookings if you want to pre-pay for a group of classes in advance, but we don't offer a discount for this.

How will you keep people updated about the class

We will post important information about the class - e.g. details of any unavoidable cancellations - on the Wild for Dance Facebook page and on the News page of our website. If you don't use Facebook then we will contact you directly.
